On July 24, the Party General Branch of Luoyang Jinlu organized party members and cadres, as well as personnel in key positions, to visit the Zhaobo Hearing‑of‑Government Site in Yiyang, where they held a themed Party Day activity for the Integrity Promotion Month, under the theme “The Road of Life is Long; Integrity Always Walks Beside Us.”

Immersive visits and study, reflecting on the enduring benevolence of Gantang.

The Zhaobo Hearing‑of‑Cases Site is located in Gantang Village, Xianglushan Town, Yiyang County, and serves as a memorial to the renowned statesman Duke of Zhou, Zhaogong, who presided over judicial matters in the early Western Zhou period. More than three thousand years ago, while touring the local communities, Zhaogong rendered justice and attended to the people’s needs beneath the Gantang tree, leaving behind the timeless tale of “the enduring affection for the Gantang tree.” At the outset of the event, all participants entered the廉政 (integrity) education exhibition hall. There, meticulous historical records, vivid displays, and compelling stories of integrity deepened their understanding of Zhaogong’s noble character—his diligent service to the people and his incorruptible administration. Following this, attendees proceeded to visit the stele pavilion at the Zhaobo Hearing‑of‑Cases Site, the Zhaobo Cultural Exhibition Wall, and the group sculpture depicting Zhaogong presiding over cases. Before the stele pavilion, they paused to gaze intently and carefully study the inscription, drawing moral inspiration from this historic landmark. Through on‑site observation and learning, every participant came to recognize that upholding integrity in one’s professional life is not only a requirement of Party discipline but also the “ballast” that ensures a steady and sustainable career path.

Inside the exhibition hall at the site where Duke Zhao once administered justice, Secretary Yang of the Party Branch of Luoyang Jinlu led party members and cadres to stand in neat formation before the crimson Party flag, raising their right fists high as they reaffirmed their oath of admission. The resolute and powerful vows echoed throughout the hall, serving not only as a remembrance of their original aspirations but also as a solemn pledge to uphold integrity in their work. All present unanimously agreed to take this anti-corruption education as an opportunity to remain ever vigilant about discipline, constantly reflect on the perils of greed, and diligently cultivate moral character in governance.
