PDC diamond drill bits are specialized drilling tools that use polycrystalline diamond compact (PDC) cutters as the primary cutting element. They rely on the shear action of the PDC cutter to penetrate rock formations, distinguishing them from conventional down-the-hole and tricone bits. These bits are well-suited for blast‑hole drilling operations in open‑pit mines and offer versatile performance across all geological formations.
Traditional drill bits face significant limitations when drilling through complex formations: down-the-hole bits are prone to breakage and premature failure, while tricone bits suffer rapid wear and short service lives. Our company’s PDC drill bit effectively addresses these industry challenges, delivering a substantial boost in penetration rate and single‑bit footage. Equipped with features such as alloy gauge protectors, composite‑insert gauges, hybrid gauges, and dual‑row cutter arrangements, it offers broad formation compatibility, reduced overall wear, and consistently uniform borehole diameters over extended drilling campaigns.
The product employs a high‑end brazing process, ensuring tight bonding between the composite insert and the steel body, with excellent shear strength. Under heavy‑vibration conditions during rock‑breaking operations, it resists tooth loss and insert chipping. The entire production process is supported by high‑precision CNC machining equipment, delivering high processing efficiency and consistent, uniform dimensional and mechanical properties, enabling reliable, large‑volume supply.
This series of drill bits features a threaded connection, allowing direct coupling with drill rods or assembly with drill‑rod couplings. The drill rods are equipped with API‑standard female tapered connections, compatible with large‑diameter drill rods, capable of handling high torque output, and suitable for mainstream surface rock‑drilling rigs on the market.
