Advanced manufacturing cohesion to improve quality and profit, lean production cohesion to reduce costs and increase efficiency. On the afternoon of August 15, 2022, Luoyang Jinlu successfully held the July summary and commendation meeting of the IAM International Advanced Manufacturing Phase II project. The participants at the meeting included Yang Yue, general manager of the company, Han Tuwen, a teacher of several science and technology consultants, and managers of various production lines. The meeting was chaired by Lean Commissioner Peng Yajie.
      First of all, the moderator introduces the agenda of the meeting, and everyone recites the ten spirits of lean improvement together; Immediately after that, the managers of each production line will report in detail on the progress of the IAM in July for each production line. Through detailed data, based on on-site improvement cases, we can demonstrate lean production promotion work. Up to now, a total of 24 sub-projects and 30 indicators have been carried out, of which 19 indicators have reached the challenge value, 6 indicators have reached the phased target value, and each sub-project has been promoted according to the plan.

Several science and technology teachers Han commented on the promotion of the overall project. He pointed out that the focus of lean production is to reduce bottlenecks, reduce waste, reduce fluctuations, reduce errors, and reduce the number of work in progress, which are first improved from the process, and the other is to strengthen on-site management and reduce human error. Personnel as an important part of the manufacturing process, the company has carried out the training of primary and intermediate lean engineers, and the majority of lean engineers also need to transfer and apply lean production knowledge, and effectively strengthen the skills and quality of personnel.
             Liao Wenting, deputy director of the Lean Office, also fully affirmed the progress of the project, and at the same time, he stressed that management should focus on details, and all problems cannot be really solved. When a problem arises, be sure to ask why 5 times repeatedly, find the root cause of the problem and solve it.
Yang Yue, general manager of the company, praised the results of the second phase of the project, pointing out that everyone's work results should be fully respected, and at the same time guiding the development of the third phase of the project. He pointed out that the development stage of each department is inconsistent, and when selecting problems, it is necessary to grasp the difficult problems of the department, and the sub-departments and production lines should formulate assessment indicators that meet their actual conditions, and give full play to teaching according to their aptitudes. It is necessary to start with efficiency, quality, cost, talent training, lean site, etc. to carry out new work.
       During the commendation session, the company's leadership and consultant teacher team presented the flag to the project team that performed well in July.

At the end of the meeting, Mr. Yang put forward ardent expectations for everyone, asking everyone to continue the lean production business with full enthusiasm, achieve a systematic system, and achieve advanced goals.
